Hi, I got an adf from Petsmart as an impulse buy. I was told he would get along ok in my 20 gallon fully stocked fish tank. I bought him Friday and on Wednesday I knew he hadn't eaten. I borrowed my moms 1 gallon betta tank and put him in there and he has been eating. I plan to keep him in the 1 gallon tank but had a few questions:
Is the 1 gallon tank big enough for him? (I don't plan to get anymore)
Does he need an airstone? I don't have one in there now and he seems ok but I don't want the surprise of a belly-up frog in a few days!
Does he need a heater? So far his water temps have been between 72 and 78 degrees. At night we turn our heater down to about 70. I am worried though about the summer months, will he need heated water when we run the central air?
So far he has eaten frozen bloodworms and shrimp pellets, is there anything else he should be eating? Also, how often do I feed him?
TIA for any advice!

I'v kept 2 adf's in a 1.5 gallon tank. my frogs also do not have a heater in the tank all year round because the water usually stays above 70. you my want a heater if the temp goes below 70. my frogs do have an airstone but they seem to hide on the bottum of the tank when I turn it on. The food you are giving him is fine if he is eating it. you sould feed him once a day.
