my guppy's tail connected together

Okay, my fancy guppy was moved into a smaller container so I could clean out the tank. A couple days later, his tail connected at the end with a brown dot type thing. write back if you know what it might be.

Sorry for the delayed response. I'm not sure what you mean by "connected at the end", but It could mean that the fish could be stressed by high ammonia levels or he may have some kind of parasite in his tail. A picture of the fish would help.
